"This is Nashville's best kept secret! I love everything about The Eighth Room, the entire bar is well thought out. From the seating to the decor. Every seat has a perfect view of the stage, and all of them are super comfortable! The private room is one of my personal fave! Make sure and check it out when you go! I also love the tiki bar, outback. It's cozy and super relaxing, it's shaded with big fans for the hot days of summer. I believe I saw heaters out there for the colder nights. The staff is AMAZING! If you go, make sure you ask for the manager, Julianna, ask her to give you the grand tour, she's the best! The bartenders make excellent drinks, and the food is delicious! Hands down, this is such a wonderful place to hangout, have a party in the private room, date night, girls night out... Every show I've seen there has been superb, whether it was a full band or Jane X doing her thang solo! I love Friday night "Funk Night" the DJ plays the best dance music, I highly recommend this place! 10 outta 10 for me."

"I recently visited for a concert. Unfortunately the visit could have been better. Once inside I actually found the seating to be quite comfortable and nice and the venue is overall actually quite pleasant. However, there were some significant flaws with the experience before getting that far. There was nobody metal detecting anyone as they entered. The comedy lounge across the street has a big sign in the window that metal detectors are in use so I'm surprised this place didn't bother. Every other concert venue I've been to at least wands people as they enter if they don't have the full gate units. I guess they assumed the guy scanning tickets while displaying a firearm in his waistband is enough to deter anyone from starting anything. Another issue I had is that their website clearly states they open at 5pm yet they did not let anyone inside until nearly an hour later after 6pm and never once poked their head out the door to explain the delay. Fortunately the weather was cooperating but that could have been a very bad experience for everyone if it had been raining. Biggest complaint is that there is virtually ZERO PARKING for this place. They advertise that they have a dedicated parking lot but that "lot" consists of THREE spots on the hill behind the venue. There is also a small shared lot next to the venue that holds about 15 cars. That's ridiculous for a venue that advertises over a 150 person capacity, especially when that smaller lot is shared with about 5 other businesses in their plaza and The Eighth Room isn't even listed as allowed to use the lot according to the signs. As it happened I wound up parking next to the headlining artist and then assumed "if they're parking here it must be alright", but some more clarity on if that lot is even useable for their venue would be helpful."

"Had an awesome time at this spot. The atmosphere was super chill but still had a great energy—perfect lighting, good music, and just the right amount of buzz in the room. The drinks were definitely the star—creative, well-balanced, and seriously well-made. You could tell the bartenders knew what they were doing. Great place all around. Will 100% be coming back."

"This place has such a cool vibe. The ambiance is unlike anything else in Nashville. The staff were super friendly, the drinks are elevated with a selection of high quality alcohol, not what you find at most bars. There is a cool stage set up1 for live music and an awesome back patio. I can't wait to go back"
